From humble beginnings as a small family run farm, to brewers of probiotic products for compost and soil.
We began brewing microbes in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in 2019 to better our land and create richer soil for our family to grow and eat. Less than 2 years later, we are sharing our products with sustainable stores up and down the east coast.

KENKASHI's mission is to offer hope to those who feel helpless about the future of our planet. We want to inspire, educate, and encourage you to choose healthier, natural products to boost the health of your soil - regardless of how much space you have (or don't have) in your garden!
We want to create a culture that is built around nature, so you can feel good about your impact, starting at home. Our goal is to continue to grow our business in ways that will allow us to give more, including things like educational programs for local schools, food security, and much more! We are one of the first microbe brewers on the East Coast, serving up rich probiotic brews for compost and soil, in the mountains where fertile land is abundant; we know how lucky we are to live in a place where farmers and their crops thrive.
But our world is in trouble - collectively, our lands have been stripped of much of their natural resources. No matter where in the world you live, there is still time to bring the scales back in balance. All it takes is a little bit of effort, small life doing big things.
